#Pro Tips - Courtesy Nikon
Be patient when
photographing the wild animals. Wait for the perfect moment to capture the
expressions or actions.
When taking a picture with
the sky in the frame on a sunny day, set your exposure compensation to -1 to
darken the image & the sky.
Make your food photos look
tempting by looking for natural light & adding an additional element to
give an interesting touch.
For street photography look
for surprising subject & composition, A perfect light can emphasize on your
subject & create wonders.
Create compelling B/W
photographs by adding textures & interesting patterns. Look for some light
to create strong shadows in it.
When photographing animals,
use a long lens to narrow in on your subject & create a clean, defocused
background.
One way to get a good click
is the story that you have captured should indeed be a story, and not one
staged by you.
Use fill flash to add
sparkle to your subject’s eyes when shooting a portrait outdoors during the
day.
Elements of water can
greatly enhance your landscape photographs. Try framing your shot with equal
elements of water & sky.
While shooting landscapes
at sunrise and sunsets, go for a polarizer or graduated neutral-density filters
for some good results.
Active D-Lighting is
excellent at revealing details from Highlight & Shadow Areas. Particularly
good on sunny days.
Remove the protective
filters while shooting at night to avoid ghostly halos and flare from light
sources.
Create abstract blurs by
changing camera setting to 1/15 of a sec at F/11 – ISO 200 and shooting trees
in a vertical movement.
